In association with the Congress, satellite symposia will be organized in Cracow (Poland), Prague (Czech Republic), and Kiev (Ukraine). These will cover such topics as physical and biological foundations of the hadron therapy and new perspectives in the diagnosis of heart diseases in women (Cracow), ethics of radiation protection (Prague), and health consequences of the Chernobyl disaster – a quarter century later (Kiev).
