The scientific program of the Congress will cover main accomplishments in basic research associated to ionizing
and non ionizing radiation in fields of: biology, chemistry and physics as well asradiation protection, radioecology
and all applications with the first place holders: radiotherapy and oncology, diagnostics and nuclear medicine,
pharmacy and engineering. The scientific format of the Congress will be as follows. One
or more keynote or invited speaker(s) will address each session to introduce the topic.
A number of contributions will be selected for oral presentations, the majority of
contributions will be presented as posters. The poster and platform sessions of
the Congress will give an opportunity for scientists from all countries
to present their most recent research.
Round table sessions are also considered and could be used to address topical
issues and make recommendations for future actions. The Congress will end with a
concluding session during which all Chairpersons will present summaries of the
respective sessions, followed by the conference findings and concluding remarks
presented by the President of the conference.
To cover a large program we also plan satellite symposia thematically associated
with the Radiation Research Congress. The symposia intend to give a deep concern to the
high lights of the all aspects of radiation in the environment, dosimetry and nuclear
medicine.
To facilitate participation in the Radiation Research Congress of young scientists
and to promote their innovative activities we shall prepare a special supporting
program of grants and awards for young investigators. A special session will be
dedicated to show presentations of fellows awarded with travel grants.
